Claudie Eveline, a French poet, once said, “Fais que chaque heure de ta vie soit belle. Le moindre geste est un souvenir futur.” Translated into English: “Make sure every hour of your life is beautiful. The slightest gesture is a future memory.” When one thinks about it, what is more beautiful in life than the feeling of being able to mean something to someone? And what is a more beautiful memory than knowing that one has meant something to someone in life? These thoughts and my dream of becoming a doctor led me to make my career in healthcare and eventually become a GP.

It was with these thoughts that I founded my practice. Huisartsenpraktijk Hoofdvaart Kloosterveen is a new GP practice in the Kloosterveen district. It is an innovative and modern practice that starts with zero patients, where patient care and new techniques in healthcare come together. The practice provides all the care one would expect from a conventional GP practice, but without staff. You will have direct and approachable contact with your GP at all times. No long waiting times, you choose the time and date for an appointment that suits you best. Chatting, calling, coming on location, visits and much more: everything is possible.

The practice focuses on both treating and preventing diseases. It looks not only at the disease, but also at the person as a whole.
