Holiday notice

We are closed from Tuesday, April 28 through Friday, May 1 due to holidays. We will be fully available again from Monday, May 4. For urgent matters that cannot wait, please call our number +31 592 732 095 and select option 0. A covering general practitioner is available for emergencies only. For non-urgent (medical) questions and repeat prescriptions, please use the patient portal. You will receive a response from your own GP within 24 hours. If you do not have access to the portal, you can submit a question via our website (without logging in) or email us at info@huisartsenhoofdvaart.nl.

Covering GPs (emergencies only):

Tuesday, April 28 and Thursday, April 30: GP Freek Fickweiler (Assen West practice)
Wednesday, April 29 and Friday, May 1: GP Margreet Teelken (Havendokters practice)

Practical Information

Our practice is a start-up (new) practice and will start on 1 July 2025. As a result, we are temporarily applying different opening hours. We are closed on Wednesdays. Your GP is then only available for emergencies. Your e-consultations will be answered, and you can always make an appointment by phone for the next day. On Fridays, we are open until 15:00. After 15:00 the practice can only be reached for emergencies. In that case, you will be put through to Huisartsenpraktijk Assen-West, located at Oostergracht 2 in Assen.

We are closed on weekends and public holidays. Do you have complaints that cannot wait until the next working day? Then you can visit the Huisartsenspoedpost Assen. This is by appointment only.
